Hi Everyone,
Occasionally ideas come at the strangest of times or places. During the week, I was almost asleep when an idea struck me. I grabbed my iPad, opened the app “Penultimate“, sketched my idea and then went to sleep.
Fast forward to today, I had time to create and remembered I had an idea sketched out. I took out the iPad, opened the app and burst out laughing. Here’s why….
Oh my! I couldn’t even decipher my own writing! I finally worked it out but it took me longer than I expected. Decided to share it with you so you can have a giggle too. Have you worked it out?
Here’s the card…
Yes, that sketch represented two little bunnies (from the Snow Day set from Lawn Fawn) playing in a pile of autumn leaves (from Lawn Fawn’s Sweater Weather set). I wished I had the die set for both stamp sets as it was very fiddly fussy cutting those leaves and the trees but I really like how it turned out. I want to work on that scene a little more. I’ve a few more ideas just for this sketch. I do think I might need the coordinating dies though… time to shop first? lol
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are having an amazing day!
Happy Stamping!

I was looking around on your website, and you make some super cute cards! I like them a lot 🙂
Thanks so much, Ellen! 🙂 Appreciate your kind words. Thanks for taking the time to write. 🙂
I admit it. I giggled at the sketch, especially after imagining you all tired out and sketching madly before falling asleep. It’s funny how the creative muse sometimes shows up in the strangest moments. I’ve had a couple of occasions where I thought of the perfect card in the shower, then had to hurry and rush out so I could write it down and not forget it. 😀
I adore your sweet card! The bunnies are beyond adorable! Perfect with the scene. And that vellum overlay on the leaves? Genius! This is another fabulous “Kylie” card. I can’t wait to see what you’ll come up with next! 🙂
lol It’s hilarious, isn’t it?! lol You definitely cannot tell when/where inspiration will strike. lol Thank you for your kind comments and encouragement, Elle. Always appreciated. 🙂
