I’m a little late but I certainly didn’t want to miss the party! The party, you say? Yes, it is Bev’s birthday party. Bev was the first person to reach out to me on my blog. From day one she has been the most incredible supporter and champion of me and my work. She is incredibly generous with her encouragement and praise. Bev is also very creative and her blog is such a pleasure to visit – to read her lively words and see her fabulous cards. I could not let her special day go unmarked. Happy birthday, Bev!
Here’s my card…
So my dear sweet friend, Bev, I hope you have had the most marvellous of days. May the coming days and years bless you more and more. Thank you for your support and friendship. I feel very blessed our paths have crossed.
And now…before Bev tells me off…I need to finish my walrus card. 🙂
Kylie, your sweet tribute to Bev (she was one of my first reacher-outers, too!), and the ultra-darling card have, combined, planted a mega-watt smile on my face and placed joy in my heart! I love how genuine you are. Bev and I are so blessed to have you in our lives, not only for the happiness in seeing your creativity, but in your always encouraging, confidence-building, heart-warming comments. Huge hugs headed your way!
What a lovely post, Kylie … such perfect words for sweet Bev … and the cutest card! Those kitties are adorable … and they have cupcakes which makes them even better … yummy and adorable! Anita 🙂
Thank you Anita! We’re pretty blessed to know our Bev. 🙂
Well Miss Kylie… You’re just about one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Thank you soooo much for this wonderful post *blush*, and the love and support you’ve sent my way. I’m so glad we’re friends. I’ll bet you didn’t know that Australia is one of the places I’ve always wanted to visit. It’s still on my list, and if I ever make it “down under,” you can be sure that you and I will have some serious craft time together! Can you just imagine???!!!! You could teach me how to color!!!!! And I’m lovin’ this darling birthday card. Is there anything better than cute kitties, cupcakes and pink?! I absolutely love it!!! Thank you dear friend for making it for me, and for celebrating my birthday with me. You’re the best. You made my day. xoxo
And now you are making me blush, sweet Bev! I really cannot tell you how wonderful a friend you have been. I so hope you have had the most wonderful day. I would LOVE to spend time crafting with you and I’d happily teach you what I know about colouring. I’m no expert but I’d pass on the few tips and tricks I have discovered. 🙂 hugs! hugs! hugs!!
This is just too darn cute and so so sweet. I love those petite cupcakes and the adorable kitties holding them up.

Love the card, Kylie! It’s so sweet and so wonderfully feminine without being too much. And those kittens are adorable! I must get myself some Penny Black stamps…
