Thump…I’m in Love

by Kylie

Hi Everyone,

It’s no secret that I love Paper Smooches stamps. I really wanted to use the bunnies I had stamped and coloured but I just couldn’t seem to make it work as I mentioned in my last post. So, I pushed them aside, went and read a few of my favourite blogs (Just Me: C, Happy Dance and Jennifer McGuire Ink – well worth the visit!) and selected a few other stamps to play with. Looked at the stamps for a few minutes then decided to give it away for the night. Best decision! Today when I sat down to play I actually had a couple of new ideas about how to use the bunnies and voila! Card made! Apart from the fact I used the wrong bunny (he was my test colouring bunny so isn’t coloured nor cut out very well), I am pleased with how it all came together. Who knew? lol Sometimes you just need a bit of space.

Probably shouldn’t push my luck but I am going to enter this card into the current Paper Smooches SPARKS competition. The theme is Anything Goes.

I still have another five bunnies coloured and cut out ready to use…gotta dream up some new ways to use him. Must say that I also really like this basic design too so I can see that I will be revisiting it a lot.

Hope you all have a happy day!

Happy Stamping!

There is something about that bunny that just spells L.O.V.E. I think he has that lovestruck goofy smile we all get when we think about our special someone…

I love your choice of papers in this card! They remind me of spring/love, and the colors are just so pleasing to the eye. The orange, in particular, makes me think of delicious crunchy carrots. I’m sure that’s one of the objects of bunny’s affections. 🙂

He is such a darling little fellow, isn’t he? I have been playing with him again tonight (nothing to show for it though. lol) and I just think he’s terrific! Thank you so much for your sweet comment, Elle! 🙂

Eeeee….cuteness overload here, Kylie! Your bunny is – to use Bev’s word – stupendously darling! That little heart, those papers, that sweet sentiment…eye-catching, heart-melting, fabulous card. I want to pinch his little cheeks and give him some smooches. Yes, “thump, I’m in love’ with this! And the shout-out – how SWEET are YOU! Thank you ever so much! I’m thrilled you find my babbly posts entertaining and my card attempts worth your time! Mr. Mojo continues to wander a bit too often for my liking, so hopefully, by the time the Valentine-marathon is done, he’ll have had enough of being AWOL and return home. Five more bunnies: excited to see the stage they’ll be playing on! Did you scoop up your PS gifts yet? I’m so curious to know what you chose (the bunny comes with a die, I think….). Hope alllll is wonderfully well in your part of the world, dear friend! We had a ‘crisp’ -34C day today…me bones are a-shivering!! Hugs to you!! Lots!! ~c

Oooh that is the loveliest of compliments, C! Thank you! I cannot believe I stressed so much over it. Supposed to be fun, this hobby of ours. lol I LOVE your blog – from your witty way of writing to the gorgeous cards which you share – it is a must stop place to visit. Mr Mojo wanders too much for my liking too. Hopefully he’ll stick around for both of us for a while. I haven’t gone on my shop with PS yet as I haven’t heard anything from them. I emailed but no news yet…maybe I have gone into the spam folder? I cannot wait though – the hooties will be mine and maybe the new birthday set too. I haven’t quite finalised the list. Such fun though. Oooh, that is WAY too cold! On the flipside we had a warm 31C day- surely there’s a happy medium somewhere. It’s supposed to be back in the 40’s by the weekend. Boo! Hope you stay warm!! Hugs hugs hugs!
