Merci

by Kylie

Hi everyone,

I really just wanted to colour tonight so I grabbed a really cute Penny Black stamp and my distress markers then set to work. For the most part I find the colouring process most enjoyable and relaxing.

For today’s card, I wasn’t sure how to colour the snail so tried to stick close to the colours on the back of the stamp. Once I had finished colouring the image, I was stuck. I had no plan in mind as to how to finish the card. In fact, I very rarely have an idea of the completed card in mind before I start. It’s usually something I think about once I have finished colouring. Sometimes this can be a good thing….other times, not so good.

So here’s what I came up with:

Merci Materials used: Stamps - Garden Visit 1446J, Salutations 30-014 (Penny Black); Cardstock - American Crafts, Knights; Distress Inks; Distress Markers and Designer Paper - Plumeria 6x6 Paper Pad (Basic Grey).

Merci for stopping by! Hope you have a happy day!

Happy Stamping!

This is so sweet! I just love what you’ve done here. The dp just sets the whole focal point off perfectly. You really need to get on a DT–seriously. Soon. You’d be such an asset to PS or Penny Black. Look for calls; you’re a shoo in!

It’s such a pretty paper, isn’t it? I love BasicGrey! Have way too much of their stuff. 🙂 Thank you for your kind comments. I think I might just follow your advice and keep an eye open! 🙂
