You’re Dino-mite (Lawn Fawn)

by Kylie

Hi Everyone,

Today marks the last, for now, of my cards using the Critters from the Past stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I still have lots of stamped and coloured images in my stash (and now have a little container to store them for future use!) but thought I’d use a few other stamp sets so they don’t feel unloved. lol

Here’s the card…

You're Dino-mite Materials used: Stamps - Critters from the Past (Lawn Fawn); Dies - Custom Panels Die (Avery Elle), Project Life (Becky Higgins), Stitched Hillside Borders (Lawn Fawn), Pierced Rectangle Stax (MFT); Embossing Folder - Waffle (Sizzix); Cardstock - American Crafts, Knights Smooth, Unknown; Copic Markers and Wink of Stella.

Just a super simple scene. I don’t know if you can see it in the photograph but the white edge was stamped with the dinosaur footprints. It’s subtle but adds just a little bit more interest.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you all have a great day!

Happy Stamping!

Just amazing, Kylie! I love that bit of kraft paper in there. Is it embossed? It adds a ton of texture.

And your coloring is really fabulous! I love the sweet and bright colors you chose. They’re just so lovely. β™₯

Good eye, Elle! Yes, I embossed that with the Waffle embossing folder from Sizzix. I wanted to start using them again. Another one of those things which seem to have fallen by the wayside in recent times. Thanks again for the sweet words, my friend!

Kylie, another little scene that has me smiling in delight! I totally see the footprints on my monitor! So cute! Not sure if this is the ‘right’ thing to say, bu tI want to give your dinos a big hug! They are just so darn darling! I’m laughing at your comment about needing to set these aside to give some other stamps some love…I’m the same way with mine! Equal opportunity for play dates with ‘everyone’! I sent you a note yesterday; fingers crossed it came through! If not, let me know and I’ll resend!
Hugs galore,
~c

Hey girlfriend! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such sweet comments. I’ve been a bit under the weather, but am now feeling fit as a fiddle and trying to get back to my ‘normal.’ This card is absolutely darling. Love the textures, and the sweet images, but your coloring has once again blown my mind. I think I spent five minutes alone, staring at the trees! I could see the little footprints too. Fantastic card Kylie. LOVE it!!
