Lawn Fawn – Pin of the Day

by Kylie

Hi Everyone,

If you’ve read my blog for any length of time you would know I am a HUGE fan and supporter of Lawn Fawn. I love their products, their blog and their videos. I was so excited today when I found out they had chosen my card to be their “Pin of the Day“. As I usually do, I wanted to record it here so that I can remember it.

Speaking of excitement, I forgot to post that Paper Smooches (one of my other super favourite stamp companies) featured an older card of my on their Facebook page back in May. It came completely out of the blue and it gave me such a creative boost.

I create for myself because it makes me happy. It relaxes me. It excites me. It’s my passion. I do it for me BUT I have to say that it feels really good to know that others appreciate what I create. From being featured on blogs, or facebook, to the comments written here on my blog, they are all very much appreciated by me. Thank you!

Hope you all have a wonderful day (and that you forgive this self-indulgent post).

Happy Stamping!

Don’t ever feel bad about sharing your successes. It allows the rest of us to get just as excited about it as you are! And it really is a fun feeling to see a card and go “My friend made that!”. It’s a thrilling experience. 😀

Thank you, Elle! I am so pleased it isn’t just me who gets so excited when I see others being recognised. 🙂 It is so good, isn’t it? 🙂

I CAN’T MAKE MY FONT ANY LARGER!!!! WANTED IT TO SHOUT “CONGRATULATIONS” IN THE BIGGEST WAY!!! So proud of you girl. Carol is right, you have so much talent, and are big time DT material. I’ve been eyeing that LF set. Have taken it out of my basket TWICE. Love it, just can’t do it right at the moment. Your little bunnies are adorable, and your design is fantastic. You keep it up girl, and don’t stay away for long, I can’t wait to see what else you create!!! Love this card. You’re the bomb bunny!! : )

Nothing self-indulgent about this whatsoever, dear friend! You have every right to be proud of your accomplishments (in my world, these acknowledgements are equivalent to being published!!), and you do so in a way that is humble, appreciated, gracious and thankful! I, however, am cheering, applauding and happy dancing like a wild woman over these showcases (no finessse; just raucous excitment!) You are so incredibly talented and I love when you join in on challenges so others can marvel over your splendid creations (homework assignment: get those little beachy scenes off to some challenges!!). Truly, you *need* to be on a design team…I’ll keep an eye out for who’s looking. Hold on a sec….I think Paper Smooches is….my goodness, girl, you would soooooo rock as one of their DT members! Scope it out!! Even if you don’t want to commit to a DT (I had no idea how much commitment is involved!! Newsflash!), you could be a GD alllll over the place!! Here I go again, trying to ‘market’ you…I’ll stop (for a bit), but I’m doing so out of love for YOU and your awesome talent! You make my life sparkle when you share cards; I’m willing to ‘share’ you with others (maybe….*grin*) Hugs~c

With the demise of magazines, it is like being published, I agree! It is exciting and humbling. Thank you so much for sharing in it with me and for all the lovely compliments which make my head swell. You can definitely be head of marketing. I don’t do so well in that area. 🙂 big hugs to you! 🙂
