Hello, some bunny loves you!

by Kylie

Hi Everyone,

It is a gorgeous day outside and I should be out enjoying. Instead I am sitting inside creating. I just had the urge. I woke up thinking about a design. How weird is that? lol

I wasn’t going to put in another entry into the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge but the card I have just finished fits the “Anything Goes” criteria so why not?

(Edited to add: I was just wandering around youtube and blog land and realised this speech bubble/hello combo is a bit in vogue at the moment. I hadn’t realised. I guess it is possible I was influenced without realising it. Any resemblance to any other card is simply coincidence.)

The card looks cuter than the photo shows. The centre panel is popped up but it doesn’t look out of alignment like it does here. Must work out how to photograph these sorts of cards better. Think it might be the last time you see this little bunny for a while. I don’t have any more pre-stamped and coloured. Did I hear you all say hooray? lol Not sure what is next on the creating agenda. Watch this space!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Happy Stamping!

Oh, what a fun, spring-y, fresh card, Kylie! The bunny is adorable; paired perfectly with your little scene and speech-bubble hello! I’m with you on ‘fretting’ about whether our cards are ‘totally unique’ (not possible, in my opinion) or if they’re somehow a ‘copy’ of something that’s influenced us, who knows when and where. I think that’s why “cas-ing” is so wonderful: copy and share works for me! As for your card, though, I haven’t seen anything as deliciously darling! You’re in the clear, my dear friend! LOVE this!! Hugs~c

Hi C, what you say is so true. I know we are constantly inspired by the things around us regardless of whether we consciously realise that we have even taken something in. It is so difficult when you are putting your own artwork “out there” as you don’t want to risk upsetting anyone. Thank you for your oh so sweet words again today, C. hugs!

Kylie, this is gorgeous! I love the bright spring colors, the subtle texture and the pink hello. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of the bunny, and he looks especially sweet in this card.

Speech bubbles are very trendy, indeed. It’s kind of funny to accidentally stumble on a new trend. It makes for a very gorgeous card, though!

Thank you for inspiring me. *hugs* 🙂
