Don’t Worry, they only want those with brains (TSG)

by Kylie

Hi Everyone,

While Halloween is over now, I’m not ready to stop playing with these cute “spooky” stamps. I’ve decided that if I don’t use sentiments which specifically refer to Halloween then there is no reason why I can’t keep using Halloween type images. lol I do have a few more images stamped up but – maybe it is time to turn my thoughts to other creations – I don’t know. Will see where the mojo leads.

For today’s card, I created another little scene. lol How I love them! As I really don’t have a lot of spooky themed stamps, I took the opportunity to play with my Silhouette Cameo which has, unfortunately, been sitting there gathering dust in recent months. I don’t have the space to keep it out at all times so it is a bit of a chore to get it out…but it is SO worth it! I reallllly needed this card to have a spooky tree and a rickety fence and the Silhouette store did not disappoint with the Spooky Trail die. In the end, the card came together quite easily and I really quite like it.

Here’s the card…

Don't worry, they only want those with brains Material used: Stamps - Hauntingly Delightful (There She Goes Clear Stamps); Dies - Spring Showers, Stitched Hillside Borders (Lawn Fawn), Circles (Sizzix), Die-namics Blueprints 5 (My Favourite Things), Spooky Trail (Silhouette); Cardstock - American Crafts, Doodlebug Design; Designer Paper - The Bewitched Bundle (DCWV); Distress Inks; Copic Markers; Pearls - Yellow (KaiserCraft) and Wink of Stella.

If you celebrate Halloween, I hope you had a fantastic time! I’m off to tidy my craft table and then hopefully create something else.

Happy Stamping!

Thank you so much Anita! I love the sentiments in this set – half the reason I had to have it! 🙂

Such an adorable card, Kylie! The scene is just perfect! You are so good at scenes. It always amazes me.

My favorite part, though, is the sentiment. It made me giggle. 😀
