So Many of My Smiles…(TGF/KaiserCraft)

by Kylie

Hi Everyone,

I had a break from my blog enforced by Mother Nature. We’ve been in the middle of a rather warm patch and then we had a bit of wild weather which resulted in my power being off for the better part of two days. Turns out that crafting in the dark is not easy, who’da thunk?! lol Also turns out that I *love* air-conditioning! A LOT! lol In typical Melbourne fashion we have gone from hot, hot, hot weather with a fierce storm only yesterday to a cold dreary day today when I’m (almost) tempted to put the heater on. Ah, Melbourne, how I love thee!

Before I lost power for two days I did have another card waiting in the wings featuring the lovely “Honey” from The Greeting Farm. Once again, I opted for the cute look so covered up the little skull in her hair ribbon. I also decided to play around with her hair colour a little bit too. I didn’t have three colours which worked beautifully together but I made do. I’m quite happy with it but I do think I need to go shopping. 😉 lol I’ve also stayed away from the “typical Kylie” card again which is a bit of fun.

Here’s the card…

She’s so cute! If you’d like to see another take on this gorgeous stamp, please visit my amazingly talented friend Elle’s blog. Elle colours images in the most beautiful way and the most creative way too. Her blog is a visual feast for the imagination!

So, that’s me done for today. Think I’m going to plonk myself down in front of TV and watch the Big Bash (cricket) for the first time in two days. lol

Happy Stamping!

Okay, you’ve added new definitions to ‘cute and adorable’, Kylie! Honey in green is adorable, although with your magical colouring, Honey will wear ANY colour with style and flair! Super sweet in every way! Signature hearts…yayyy! And the sparkle on her hair-bow…double yayyyy!!! Without power for two days? Poor you! Wild weather indeed! Hope things settle in to ‘normal’ for you soon!

You’re the sweet one, C! 🙂 Thank you! 🙂 The weather seems to be in check at the moment but I heard that tomorrow might be a bit iffy. However, I will not complain as at least my weather and woes don’t have me freezing! hugs!

Ooh, she is adorable! And reminds me a bit of St Patrick’s day -and Ireland.

I love that you branched out and tried a slightly different style. I think it turned out very lovely, and it’s still got a touch of something that says “Kylie” in my mind. 😀

Oooh, yes, there’s an idea, Elle! Putting a little shamrock over her skull would be perfect! You’re so creative! Thank you! I hope to experiment a little more – just relax and play and see where it leads me. 🙂 Glad it still says it’s a “Kylie” card though. lol 🙂 hugs!

Ok….I won’t tell you that it’s still below zero (F) at 9:00 in the morning. However, it will be balmy again by the weekend…all the way up in the 20s! Lol. I don’t mind the cold, really. It’s the snow that makes things difficult. You are really going to town with these sweet little images. LOVE the greens with the bit of pink in those hearts. “…made do,” indeed…If I had all the shades of the best markers in the whole world, I couldn’t color like you do! She’s got so much detail! And your composition is lovely. You make wonderful cards, my friend. Have a great weekend!

Oh BRRR! That’s too cold! lol I prefer winter, Bev, but we don’t get the extremes like you do. 🙂 It’s all practice! I bet you could colour, Bev! You are a dab hand at all the styles I have seen you tackle thus far! Thank you! 🙂 hugs!
