It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

by Kylie

At least it will tomorrow, when I finally get the Christmas tree up. Oops! I had planned to do it today but then so many other things jumped the queue. So tomorrow it is.

Oh, I forgot to say hi. Hi Everyone!

I had to make some gift card holders today. Funnily enough they won’t contain gift cards, but just a QR code which links to a site explaining the gift. Cannot say too much more in case the recipients decide, for once, to visit my blog. Look away family, there’s nothing to see here. 😉

So, here’s the gift cards which I made. I’m still having a bit of a thing with the Silhouette Cameo and was so chuffed when I saw the adorable Santa Claus Gift Card Holder by Lori Whitlock. I knew then it was going to be the answer to my “how do I wrap this present?” dilemma. I cannot take any sort of credit for the card, I just assembled the pieces. I made five of these and they were super simple to do and they look great! Guess I should actually show you. 🙂

Here they are (well, two of them. The other three look exactly the same!):

In case I don’t get back before Christmas, I would like this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. May you be surrounded by those you love, and those who love you. If you cannot be with your loved ones this Christmas, I hope it isn’t too long until you are together. Thank you to everyone who has stopped by to visit. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to write such encouraging comments. I cannot begin to say how much your words have touched and encouraged me!

Hope you all made the “nice” list and that Santa comes a-calling (perhaps with some new stamps for you to play with)!

Happy Stamping!

Hey girl!
And a very Merry and Blessed Christmas to you! Your little Santas are so cute, and I’m sure your family will get a kick out of them. You’ll have to let us know what went inside them after Christmas, as you’ve peaked our curiosity too! We’ve got snow for our “white” Christmas, which wouldn’t be bad except for some reason, it has to fall on the sidewalks and streets too! Lol. Hope to see many more of your fantastic cards in the coming year, and I’m so glad we’re bloggy buddies! God’s richest blessings to you my friend, at Christmas, and all year long. Bev

Merry Christmas and a wonderful and happy 2014 to you, Bev! Hope you have had an amazing time lately and the YNW have been less frequent (although ideally, I hope they have left you in peace!). I cannot wait to catch up on your creations and news and I am so glad we are bloggy buddies too. big hugs!

Your gift cards are soooo adorable; and perfect packaging for your ‘gift’ cards! The QR code sounds intriguing, certainly adding wonder and the excitement of discovery as folks dash to the nearest computer to see their presents. Fabulous idea! My dear, friend, your Christmas wishes are ever so thoughtful and heart-warming! In turn, I wish you much happiness, much ‘decadence,’ much opportunity for rest and relaxation, and especially, much peace, joy and love during this Christmas. May you be surrounded by people you love, doing and sharing what you love! May your gifts – whatever they may be, and whatever forms they take – be plentiful! You are, as I’ve mentioned many times (a trend I plan to continue!!), a treasure. I consider your friendship an important, vibrant part of my life! Merry Christmas, sweet Kylie; Merry Christmas!! Hugs~c
