Whimsical Wishes

by Kylie

Some days, like I said yesterday, you sit down to create and the ideas just come together effortlessly.  Other days, not so much.  At other times, you seem to get parts of it right – like the colouring of the images, for example, but the overall design doesn’t quite work.

Today as I coloured the images I was really happy with how they were looking.  The little gnomes from the Paper Smooches “Forest Whimsy” set were coming together really well. I tend to stamp the images a few times before I start to colour just in case I mess them up somehow. The little green gnome, pictured below, looks totally adorable. The design was looking pretty cute too but I didn’t quite get the colour choices right. As I said yesterday, just because something doesn’t work out quite how you’d planned it, doesn’t mean that there is anything wrong with it. In this case, I will try the design again but I will vary my colour choices. It’s all part of the fun!

Happy Stamping!
