Hello Hello Hello

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday I had the urge to colour! This does seem to happen on a quite regular basis. lol I hunted through my stash looking for something a little different and stumbled across a cute stamp from Imaginations! I have had this stamp for years and I don’t think I have ever made a finished card with it – well, I *hadn’t* made a finished card until last night. Now I have three cards. lol They are all very simple and quite similar too but I am quite happy with them.

Here’s card one…

Hello Materials used: Stamps - 0828D (Imaginations!), Chit Chat (Paper Smooches); Cardstock - American Crafts; Designer Paper - 6x6 Paper Pad - Poolside (Party with Amy Locurto/Pebbles); Copic Markers, Distress Ink and Glossy Accents (Ranger).

And then card two…

I loved colouring this image. It really highlighted to me my strengths and weaknesses with colouring – and it made me want to colour some more! I have also been inspired to go through the stamp stash and pull out some older stamps which I haven’t used for a while, if at all. (The newer stamps will still get a look-in though, don’t worry! lol).

Hope you are all having a wonderful day!

Happy Stamping!

Kylie, this is so much fun! We have been shivering here with windchill temperatures of -40. Summer and beach sound so lovely. And seeing these gorgeous cards just brightened my day.

I love how the stamp is the same, but the cards feel just slightly different from each other. A set like this – same theme/stamp, different look – would make for one great gift set! In fact, this is what I’m doing next time I make a card gift set for family and friends.

Thank you for the inspiration! 🙂

Awesome!! Your colouring is ultra fantastic, and the pairing with the papers: perfect!! Love how they’re all the ‘same, but different’! A cute set, for sure! You have me craving much warmer weather (-30C this morning…seriously!), and switching up the long johns and down parkas for a pair of shorts and tank top. Knowing me though, the summer weather will arrive, and I’ll be whining about being “too” hot *grin*! Your post is making me smile allllll over my face!! Hugs~c

-30C? Nooooooo way! Sending you some warm spring thoughts your way. I know I have never been in temperatures that cold. I don’t know how you do it! I look forward to hearing you complaints about being too hot. lol Thank you again for your kind words. To quote you…you comments are making me smile allll over my face!! 🙂 hugs!

Hey Kylie! She’s a real beaut! What a fun image, and she must have been a blast to color! If I had your mad coloring skills, I’d do tons like these. Love the summery dps you’ve used behind your image too. Great cards. You so rock! These make me long for summer, but I’m not sure if the snow will ever melt here, lol! Have a great week.
