Ballarat

by Kylie

Hi Everyone,

Now that was an unexpected break! I had a couple of super busy days then went away for the weekend. Was planning to sit and create when I was struck down with a migraine. Two days later I think I am almost back to normal…or whatever passes as normal. lol

This past weekend I went to Ballarat to catch up with my uni girls. I’m incredibly blessed to have such wonderful friends as these girls. We’ve been friends for 22 years now and we still talk every day! I took the train to Ballarat which was the destination for our catch up. Ballarat is in country Victoria and is a great little country town.

Here’s a couple of photos I took as we sped along the track. Not easy to take good photos out the window of a moving train but these aren’t too bad.

On the way there:

Hope you are all having a wonderful day! I’m looking forward to catching up with my creating and to see what you’ve all been up to as well!

Happy Stamping!

I’m so glad to hear that you had a wonderful get-away with your friends! The photos are amazing, as is having friendships spanning 22 years! Special times with special people = heart-warming! So sorry to hear you suffer from migraines. Yuck!! Sounds like you’re on the mend, ready to head back into crafting, and that, for those of us who love, love and love what you share, is fantastic news!!
Your comments on my card have me happy dancing! Again, I’m so fortunate to have ‘found’ you – you’re a treasure! As for the distress markers: WOW!! I haven’t had enough time to use them ‘a lot,’ but what I have done…swoon!!! Now I want all 37 colours…and the newly released ones too! Darn, where is that lottery win when I need it!!
Looking forward to ‘seeing’ you later! Hugs!

Thank you, C! Good friends are certainly blessings! Migraines, on the other hand, suck! It’s done and dusted now though so yay! You are too kind and I am feeling blessed to have “met” you too! The distress markers are so fantastic. I have actually purchased a couple of new ones to work alongside my existing ones as I have dulled the point on a few of them from scribbling onto my craft sheet. Oops! I just put washi tape around the ones to scribble with and keep the others for more detailed work. That’s my tip of the day. haha If you work out how to get the lottery win, please let me know! 🙂 happy days to you! 🙂
