Roaring Good Birthday

by Kylie

Hi everyone,

I’m a bit under the weather so just a short post tonight. This card is a variation on the one featured yesterday. All I did was change the orientation to landscape and add some googly eyes to the lion to make it a little more fun.

I love that you can change a couple of things and end up with a new look. Here’s my tip: Use this technique to give your creativity a bit of a boost when it seems to be lacking – pick a card design you like, change a couple of things, and voila! you’re off again. If it doesn’t help boost the creativity, then at the very least you have a new card made. Just repeat the process, perhaps with a different card design, until you are feeling creative again.

Have a Roaring Good Birthday Materials used: Stamps – Bon Voyage, Critters on the Savanna (Lawn Fawn); Cardstock – Knight; Vellum; Distress Inks; Distress Markers and Googly eyes (brand unknown).

Another little cutie! It’s really wonderful to see how everyone in blogland has their own style. I love the little ‘scenes’ you do. This is really sweet. I had to turn off the anonymous comments on my blog as I was getting too much junk. I do have my email listed somewhere in my blog though….Anyway, this is another great card. : ) Bev

Thanks so much, Bev! I really do appreciate your kind words. I love making these little scenes. They are fun. I agree – it is amazing how one stamp can be used by different people in so many different and creative ways!

I’ll try again next time I stop by. 🙂
