Hello Hello

by Kylie

Hi Everyone,

I hope you’ve all been having a great weekend. Don’t they pass by so quickly?! I caught up with some of my favourite people this weekend. We met at Chinatown in the city and spent many happy hours laughing, talking and eating.

I’m sharing two cards today. They are essentially the same card but, once again, I think it is so interesting to see how changing just a couple of details changes the look of a card. I’m not sure which I prefer but I am leaning towards the one without clouds.

I *need* to make some Thank You Cards but inspiration has yet to strike. Maybe tomorrow?

Update:

Just made this. Like the colouring but I wasn’t sure how to finish it off. In the end I just added the design to an embossed base. I think it needs amending…just not sure how at this stage. lol

Thanks, Ardyth! I really enjoy making them. I remember, years ago, a friend saying she found it relaxing to cut out letters for her scrapbooking and I thought she was mad. lol Now…I agree…I find it relaxing to cut out all these little elements. Thanks so much for your kind words and for stopping by today.
