Getting Into the Christmas Spirit

by Kylie

Hi everyone,

Hope you’ve all been happy and well! Hasn’t it been AGES since I last posted?! Many, many reasons for my absence. I hadn’t even done much in the way of creating until I was asked to make the Christmas cards for my work. I didn’t have any idea where to start this year. I popped onto the Silhouette site for some inspiration. I found a couple of designs which really struck my fancy and after ensuring they had a commercial license I jumped into creating.

Here’s what I have made:

Work Christmas Card - 2013 Materials used: Cardstock - American Crafts; Design from Silhouette; Glitter - Crystalina (KindyGlitz); Stamp - Merry Christmas B170 (Unknown).

Then it was onto creating my own Christmas cards. They are still drying so hopefully I can share them tomorrow.

Hope you have a happy day!

Happy Stamping!

Woo hoooo! You’re back! But I have to say: I was standing at my counter, ready to embark on creating a letter *from* Santa to my niece and nephew, when I realized I hadn’t heard from or written to you in ages (my apologies…crazy busy!). In a moment of panic, I thought perhaps my Feedly had eaten your site, so dashed (okay, walked) to my laptop, and….your card popped up. Synchronicity!! Your past month and some sounds incredibly hectic, and I’m sooooo glad you’ve found some crafting time! This card: WOW, WOW and WOW! Your office mates will be ecstatically delighted with this gorgeous Santa + reindeer snow globe scene! Beautifully, truly beautiful! And your own cards…tell them to hurry and dry! Want. to. see!
Ecstatic you’ve returned; relieved to know you’re okay…and the next time you ‘disappear’ for more than a week, I’m coming a -pestering!! Huge hugs, dear friend, huge!

Hi C, I’ve missed you! I haven’t even been reading blogs so I am behind on all your news. I plan to catch up over the Christmas holidays. How funny that you were thinking of me at the same moment I posted my post! 🙂 Love synchronicity! 🙂 Thank you for your sweet words too. I had a blast making the cards and hopefully they will be well received. I bet you have been having a fantastic time with your letter writing too. Magical time of the year. Please feel free to pester me anytime you like!! 🙂 hugs hugs hugs!
